Bettabets supports new artists who are ready to breakout and become a hit. Are you the next BOSS of BEAT? We are looking for
BOSSES from the following 4 genres of music
Hip-hop, Maskhandi , Amapiono/Gqom and Lekompo.

First stage:
Entries will be accepted from all qualifying artists. Closing date 30 May. Our judging panel
of music industry and entertainment specialists will then select 2 winners per genre.
Each winner will receive R5000 cash prize. One prize per winning entry.

Second Stage:
End May to end August
We will take all 8 first round winners and promote them heavily across all our Bettabets
platforms, exposing artists to 100's of thousands of potential new fans. We will be asking for
South Africa to vote for their favourite finalist.
The one with the most votes will win first place and R20k second place R10k and
third place R5k in cash. A total of R75 000 in total prize money to winning artists.

You Qualify if you meet the following criteria:

• You do not have a recording contract in place but may have an expired contract.
• You may have an agent who represents you in the industry, but not required.
• You must not have more than 60 000 followers on one of the following: TikTok, X, Instagram or Facebook. You can have up to 60 000 followers on each though.
• You must have more than 1 000 followers on at least one of the following: TikTok, X, Instagram or Facebook.
• You are over 18.
• You are a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document.
• You are a soloist or part of a duo or group.
• You have a Spotify profile.
• Your music is available in an audio format.
• Your created music is from one of the following genres:

  Amapiano/Gqom
  
  Hip-hop
  
  Maskandi
  
  Lekompo
